Taylor holds a BFA from Colorado State University and a CA C33 Specialty Painter's Contractor's License. Clients include Toyota, Hilton, Twitter HQ, and Sony PlayStation.

Taylor works from high-resolution references to ensure accuracy at scale, developing a digital mockup for approval before painting begins. Colors, composition, and background elements are all finalized before anything goes on the wall. Available for commercial, community, and residential commissions.

High-resolution photographs are ideal - the higher the resolution, the more accurate the likeness at scale. For iconic subjects, I can work from multiple reference images to capture a composite that feels true to the person. For private commissions, I ask for several photos from different angles and lighting conditions to give myself the best foundation.

Very. Portraiture is one of Taylor's core specialties - a BFA concentration in painting and drawing, years of figure work, and hundreds of completed portraits at varying scales. The transition from a reference photo to a wall-scale likeness requires a specific skill set that not every muralist has. It's one of the reasons clients come to Taylor specifically for this type of work.

Yes. Group portraits, team compositions, and multi-figure murals are all projects I take on. The design challenge is giving each subject appropriate presence while creating a unified composition. Digital mockups are especially important for multi-subject murals so everyone is happy with placement and proportion before painting begins.

Athletes, musicians, cultural icons, historical figures, and community leaders. I'm also frequently commissioned for private portraits - families, individuals, and pets. If the subject has meaning to you or your community, it has meaning on the wall.

Depending on the resolution and the scale of the mural, yes. Lower-resolution references require more interpretive work on my part, which can actually produce a more painterly, expressive result. I'll be upfront during the quote process about what's achievable from the references you have.

I don't create murals depicting hate, violence, or content that demeans specific groups of people. Beyond that, I'm open to a wide range of subjects and will always give you an honest answer if a particular concept isn't something I'm the right fit for.

That's the client's responsibility. For murals featuring public figures, celebrities, or athletes in commercial contexts, clients are responsible for securing any required permissions or releases before work begins. I can advise on what's typically required based on the context of the project.
